Scope the scantily clad temptresses, dry martinis, car chases and ingenious spy gadgetry--James Bond is back. EA follows up the success of last year's Agent Under Fire with an all-new adventure to coincide with the launch of the latest 007 flick, Die Another Day. The simultaneous releases aren't directly related, though, as NightFire is a completely new production, not a movie tie-in. 'With an original game, you're able to craft your story around interesting game experiences instead of a script that was written with only the silver screen in mind,' explains producer joel Wade. 'This allows us to create fantastic game experiences without being restricted to the exact fiction of the movie, and to let the story and game design play off each other.'

Even though NightFire's not based on a movie, the stylin' production values of the blockbusters remain intact. For example, the game opens with a breakneck shooting level in which you're sniping cars from a helicopter. Just like in the films, that over-the-top action scene segues into a traditional credits sequence, complete with sultry, undulating vixens and that unforgettable Bond music. After that, the pace never lets up as Bond explores over 10 exotic locales to uncover the diabolical plans of master-mind Rafael Drake.

You'll soon discover that international intrigue involves more than just first-person shooting. Missions run the gamut between shooting, stealth, driving, flying and underwater combat. Unlike in some games (coughDead to Rights), these additional gameplay modes aren't mere afterthoughts--they're packed with depth. In fact, the driving bits (in Bond's oh-so-sexy Aston Martin V-12 Vanquish) use the amazing Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 engine to offer serious thrills.

The GoldenEye-inspired shooter levels remain the central gameplay draw, but how you tackle these stages is largely up to you. 'Action fans can attack the majority of the levels with guns blazing, and we've provided a huge arsenal for them,' says Wade. 'However, the players who think like Bond -- using their wits instead of their guns--will score the highest.' Solving missions and giving goons the slip requires complete mastery of Q's spy gadgets.

Of course, a Bond game just wouldn't be the same without a stellar multiplayer experience. NightFire's unfriendly firefights offer a ton of options, memorable characters and locations ripped from classic Bond films. It's a fast, solid good time that should keep you and your buds glued to the couch for days. While there wasn't time to include online play, Wade hints that Bond's next outing (probably in 2003) might make that jump.

Well once your in the confrence room first DON'T BREAK THE GLASS you'l have about a good small army of gaurds coming non-stop. What you really want to do is go to the next room[if your looking straight at the glass it will be on your left]. Go to the picture of the twin go as far to it as possible then press A. You will notice it's a sliding door and you can go inside and make sure you get all 3 things.
1. The MRL-22
2. The MRL-22 ammo
3. At the other corner there will be body armor

You will have to go into one of the rooms thatyou take a picture in and find the picture of thehot chinese twin. Go up to it and press theaction button and it will open. Go in and youwill find the MRL-22 without having to break theglass.

If you play the level Cold reception at the beginning, go over to the piano and push the action button (A) or the green botton same thing it will play the theme song.

After you go through the subway, you will see a qbooster in front of a building drive tordes thebuilding after you hit the building you willjump over a billboard then go thourgh one.

Get out your Q- Claw and claw on to the air ventabove the area. Keep going until you come acrossa small space in the wall, where you'll see a manon a computer. Kill him with your hands. Now youwill get some P2K ammo, but you will also get anarmory key. Use the Q- Decrypter to get into theother room. When you get in, go across the roomto get to a door with a card slot. Press theaction button on the slot, and your in. Youshould get a few grenades, but look around andyou'll find a MRL 22 (or a rocket launcher).

Go into the room in between the rooms with thetwo thing things Bond needs to photograph, itkinda looks like a meeting room. Anyway, lookaround the room, and you'll find a MRL 22 behindglass. You obviously have to break the glass toget it. There may be some rockets back there,too, im not sure. (Note: when you break the glassand take the MRL 22, the alarm will go off.) Itusually already has about 10 rounds, sometimes,it has only 2. So only use the MRL 22 foremergencies, like against a super thug.

Okay, in multiplayer mode when you selectyourlevel select Harbor. When you select yourcharacter and everything else scroll down to theweapons icon. Next, make sure the defender isone of the weapons. While in the game walk intoone of the metal walls, hold forward on thecontrol stick until you can't go forwardanymore. Shooy the wall with the defender andaround the bullet hole there will be a faintsquare and it will look like a sticker!

Shoot Bloch with a sniper rifle (SSSR 4000) onceor twice and he will fly up onto a platformbetween the second and third floors. Quickly rununder the platform and Bloch will shoot a rocketat you only there will be a floor in the way andhe will blow himself up.

When you choose the weapons, put a P2k in thefirst slot and leave the other slots empty (orelse this wont work). Then go to modifiers andchoose one shot and golden bullets. Now when youstart, there will only be one gun, the one hitgolden gun.

When you first start the level, and the buscrashes defeat all the terrorists. Thendefeatthe Sniper and go forward. In one of thewindows there should be a Frinensi.

You will need: D-17 with at least 2 or 3 hundredbullets, SSR 4000 with at least 2 bullets(in caseyou miss your target once)First take out your D-17 and strafe left-right toavoind missles. While moving side to side hold thetrigger. Always keep your distance and never gettoo close or stop moving side to side.When Bloch flies up to the second floor, takeou your sniper rifle(SSR 4000). Walk close to thelanding he's on so you can barely see his head andhe can't see you. Use the scope on the rifle andshoot him in the head. When you walk close to himhe flies away quickly so be FAST. Two shots in thehead will make him fly to the third floor and makethe walkway fall down.Use your jetpack to land on the fallenwalkway. Walk to the top of it and use your Q-clawon the grapling plate of the opposite wall. Walknear the tube to go in it. When you come out youwill pick up a rocket launcher. Shoot Bloch oncewith it and he will be finished.
