Lego Rock Raiders is a video gamedeveloped by Data Design Interactive andpublished by Lego Media for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation. It isbased on the Lego themeof the samename. The Microsoft Windows version was released on November15, 1999[1]with the PlayStation version following just under a year later[2].

Windowsversion
The PC version is a RTSsimilar to Dune II, and wasthe first video game for the Rock Raiders theme. The game openswith optional training missions and one actual mission unlocked.Most missions require the player to collect a certain amount ofEnergy Crystals, the required amount starts low but gradually getshigher in later missions. Some missions require the player tolocate Rock Raiders that have been trapped in landslides, or tofind certain pieces of equipment and bring it back to their base.One of the game's features is the Priority Menu. With this menu,you can set what order Rock Raiders carry out their tasks. Forexample, you can set whether Rock Raiders should collect EnergyCrystals or Lego Ore first.

At the end of each mission Chief would evaluate your work,examining various aspects of your mission. With all these takeninto consideration, Chief would give a mission ratingpercentage.
There are twenty-five missions total, each of them is in eithera rock, lava/volcanic or ice cavern environment. It is notnecessary to complete every mission with 100%, or even complete allthe missions, to complete the campaign.
PlayStationversion
Unlike the PC version, the PlayStation version is an action and strategy game, in which the playercontrols a character instead of just commanding a squad. Alsounlike the PC game, which was centered around constructing a baseand mining, the PlayStation game centers around exploring.
Most missions require the player to collect a certain amount ofEnergy Crystals, while some missions require the player to rescueRock Raiders that have been trapped by landslides.
There are eighteen campaign missions, and six multiplayermissions. The PAL version includesthree bonus missions that are accessible after the campaign iscompletely finished.
Rather than a percentage, at the end of each mission you receiveeither a bronze medal (minimum required objectives complete), asilver medal (most objectives complete), or a gold medal (allobjectives complete in the required time).
Reception
The Windows edition of the game received average reviews fromboth IGN and GameSpot, with both sites scoring the gamearound 6 out of 10[3][4].The PlayStation edition on the other hand received a less positivescore from GameSpot, only receiving a score of 3.2[5].The game was praised for its graphical appearance and sound effectsbut was criticised for being frustrating and boring.[4]The game won Software of the Year round-up from Family FunMagazine.

You can do just about anything your imagination sets your mind to.
LEGO Rock Raiders offers great fun and an unexpected thickness. In the game, your mission to explorer is faced with the challenge of establishing a base camp beneath the planet’s surface. This game allow you can to take command of the Rock Raiders team and navigate the Rock Raiders. You control all command for your mission to explorer and get the Rock Raiders home safely. This game it was going to be like a LEGO game that was similar to Minecraft. There is a lot of problem solving in this game, you have to decide how to use your resources. You can enjoy the explore world in this game, you can do anything also remember when the game was just starting.
